Instructions to Set Up the ACG Account and MFA

Set Up Your Account

  1. Access Settings: Open a private window (incognito) inside your browser and log into the https://m365.cloud.microsoft/ portal using the business email. 
  2. Enter your email address and password provided by IT.
  3. Click next to start your MFA setup.
  1. Click next to start your MFA setup. Open Authenticator on your phone, click the + at the top, select work or school and select scan QR code.

Hit next again to view the QR code and scan with your phone.

A pop-up notification will appear on your phone. Enter the number on your screen into your phone to complete the MFA and click done. It will then ask for your cell number as a secondary (backup) MFA.

Enter your cell phone number and click next. Provide the code that was texted to your phone.

Click Done twice to complete your sign in.

  1. Click on your name in the bottom left corner and select View account.

On the left under Home click on the arrow next to My Account and select Change Password.

Approve the sign in request with your Authenticator, update your password and click on submit.

Click Done, then close the private browsing window.

Your account setup is now complete. At this time, you are not expected to add this account to any applications. Additional instructions will be provided as the IT merger progresses.
